Chattanooga’s 2nd Women’s March occurred on January 20, 2018. University Echo photographers were there to document the march.
Women’s rights were not the only topic at the march as protesters brought up issues of race and class. Linda said, “Don’t ever let anyone call you a girl because if they call you girl, you’ll get paid girls’ wages.” She also said that it was comforting to be able to “pass the torch” down to this upcoming generation.
